Marley & Me/Bedtime Stories

Marley and Me and Bedtime Stories were enjoyable and entertaining! Adam Sandler was definitely a good pick for the role he played in Bedtime Stories. My children laughed and Sandler kept his comments pg. Marley and Me was a book I loved. Though the movie is never as good as the book, I wasn't disappointed. Having a dog JUST like Marley only makes me wish I'd written the book before John Grogan did.
Anyway, just thought I'd give out my opinion! Spending time and money on movies that aren't worth it is the pits!

How exciting can legos be?

Snow and Parties

Snow and parties are the main things happening here! See below pics of Austin's birthday party! Also a good friend, Krissy, and I had our first annual Christmas book party! Super fun and enjoyable. Boys and I made candy trains on our 2 hour school delay Friday. Merry Christmas everyone!

Holy Smokes! Austin's five!

Austin's BFF's Jack and "the twins" came for his birthday party. Their presence was presents enough, but they also brought gifts that he loved!Being the finicky eater that he is, we strayed from cake and went for donuts! Also, a breakfast birthday party was a good reason to have his favorite foods for the party, pancakes and sausage!

Santa Claus and Troy came to town!

We were so happy to have my brother and his family come the weekend after Thanksgiving! We had lots of fun hiking at Smith Rock and eating cookies. We were so glad they came.
Austin got to see Santa at his school! Since then, the anticipation of Christmas has quadrupled in our house!

Darron and Rebecca

Darron and Rebecca came this past weekend for a visit from SLC. Baby Braxton came with them and he is a doll! Going to Smith Rock for several hours was a hit,..but not as big of a hit as Sonic's happy hour!

Kids at Halloween

Halloween was fun! Braden, Matthew and their friend Reed dressed up in some BLING as gangsters! Whitney dressed up as one of the 3 amigos, and Austin was Batman... And I have NO idea who the plumber was....but he trick or treated our house and I took a picture because I thought it was pretty unique. I hope you can read what the back of his shirt says, "We're #1 at #2"

Matthew scores!

Here's a video of one of Matthew's goals at his last game today. Matt runs across the field to take it from the other team to score. This is one of his 3 goals in his last game.

Soccer Game Update

When we told Matthew that Aunt Meleah was coming to see his soccer game last Saturday, he said, "Finally, someone like a grandma or grandpa or uncle or cousin or aunt is going to see me play!". He got 4 goals and we were really excited. One of his goals came when he was behind centerfield on defense, he made an amazing kick over the other team's heads and the ball went right into the goal!

Four year old Austin got 5 goals and a tackle. Yes...I know this is pre-school soccer where no kind of tackle is ok,...but Austin plays by his own rules.
